Yeah, noticed that one on Marktplaats but also saw your bid :)
Comidar is Amidar AFAIK.
-
It's Amidar in a Fitter cab. I have one in the same state...
http://www.zzzaccaria.com/photos_www_2002.htm (http://www.zzzaccaria.com/photos_www_2002.htm)
...that I was planning on making into a Fitter and then using a generic to make a Comidar (marque & CP). Except I don't yet have a Fitter or Comidar CP :(
If you're not planning on using the Comidar CP overlay, then I'd be interested in it :)
Paul.

Amidar is a brilliant game !!
I wonder why they changed the name into Comidar...
Seems almost like this one was a bootleg, but that's strange since Zacc was usually licensing games...?
-
Why do I get it? It was cheap
Wrong reason, it should be "because zacc's are cool !" ;D
Anyway, Comidar is the zacc Amidar, and if it is a amidar, it should be a konami board in that zacc.
I see a falcon logo, so if it is indeed a pacman, it could be a puckman board that zacc used in theyre Puckman ? (dont know that, just a wild guess)
does it run ?
I have (thanks to Bela) a highres scan of this german Comidar CPO...:
It uses the same button setup as CK, so a Repro Plexi template (https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=2958.0) is also ready ;)
And its in the Vector Que tm. (https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=2635.msg33916#msg33916) 8)

Zac did have proper licenses for many Konami games so it's hard to believe they'd bootleg it.
Could be that this is a regional name variation for some reason. Does Amidar sound like something awful in one of the European languages? ;D
Or Zac didn't have the license but AVG were happy to bootleg it ;)
Paul.

Very interesting PCB :P

Mmm, even if they changed the name for some reason, they'd still show "licensed from Konami" or something....
Amidar is not a bad word in Dutch...nor it seems in English or German. Don't know about the others. Google doesn't produce anything except for an Israeli government building company with the same name.....
-
Comidar is Amidar AFAIK.
Oke that clears things up a bit
Looking on YouTube its an interesting game
Only don’t understand what pcb is in my game the label and connector say pack-man but the white bird thingie on the pcb is also on my crazy kong pcb
Game play’s blind so cant look at the moment’(only heard it a few seconds at the sellers place)(think its time to learn working on monitors every game in the game room start to develop monitor problems so one more damn)
But the first sound impressions are packman ore as you say Etienne Puckman maybe
The first reason to buy a game its cheap, when you got it and it’s a fun game it’s a bonus ;D
palaswan already seen the pics indeed, found them when googling comidar
Comidar CPO, you can have it
wanted to make a scan but that already is being done I see mine is also German
-
Very interesting PCB :P
It says: FPM-3
Falcon Pack/Puck Man ?

Falcon Pack/Puck Man ?
only thing i can found about a falcon pacman is a " ms-pacman" pcb
But i think it is a Falcon puckman pcb
Strange i see no audio amp on this pcb !
-
Will try to find a working screen tomorrow, to see what game is running in there
-
If you get a chance, look around in the cab and see if you can see an extra audio amplifier board for the sound.
Paul.

Looking at this pic, it seems that they removed the buttons, and only a joystick is present (and player 1 and 2 buttons ofcourse)
That also does point to puckman, since Amidar uses a button...
and if the sound also is puckman, then you have a rare pcb there !

Reading the pinout on my CK, i read this :
Pinouts for "Crazy Kong" (Falcon, 1982)
with corrections from Jonathan Walton 21Sep96
this is the inverse pinout (put your connector on backwards, since
parts side and solder side are flipped) to the Falcon bootleg version
of Ms PacMan
So apparently this is the bootleg version of mrs pac made by falcon...
Interesting ::)

Nice cab Bart, you should turn it back to a nice Amidar, maybe Thorsten still have a matching bezel for it. ;)

Cool and i see a audio amp onboard ;D
-
Yes indeed the green dot left bottom is the pot meter
Somebody knows a cheap Zaccaria puckman cab for sale? ;)
-
Cool that it works!
I see it has also the japanese names of the ghosts:
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/pics/falcon1.jpg) (http://www.opdenkelder.com/pics/falcon2.jpg)
and compared with the midway version:
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/pics/midway1.jpg) (http://www.opdenkelder.com/pics/midway2.jpg)
Also they modified the maze ::)
-
Congrats, your first classic cabinet, may there be many to follow! :spaceace: :spaceace:
-
Looks like a nice version of the pacman PCB, compact mono-board.
Paul.

I just picked up one of these boards yesterday, although mine is hacked to run Ms Pac-Man (it has a small satellite board above the ROM's for the extra ones required by Ms Pac, and some extra jumper wires running around the board ;) ) It plugged right into my Crazy Kong machine but the screen is upside down (CK is upside down compared to alot of games). The player 2 controls didn't work though, but I may need to check where I put the ground wire on the harness for player 2 side when I rewired it. I also have a Phoenix bootleg (which is also Falcon pinout) that also doesn't work on player 2 side, although CK does.
BTW: That maze is usually referred to as Hangly Man, although I assume Falcon must have included it on their bootleg. It said "bonus puckman at 10000" instead of "bonus hangly at 10000".
