Title: Smallest vector monitor ever or.....ancient little oscilloscope on offer...
Post by: level42 on September 09, 2011, 03:11:00 PM
If i can make someone happy with this one, it's a small oscilloscope from 1965, so it's mostly tubes still in there !!!

Brand is Kontakt model 50-C. I believe it's Russian build. It still turns on and shows a dot on the screen, but if it is still capable of doing (serious) measurements, I doubt it.

This is more for a collector I think :)

Put it on Marktplaats but you guys go first of course:

If you manage to get a vector game running on it, i will be more than happy to create a minicab for it !  ;)

It is possible to do .....

I really don't expect it to be so functional and I am not even sure it has a X-Y setting, which is needed to display vector games...

Well, it has HOR. IN, VERT. IN and INTEN. MOD - maps to X, Y and Z, maybe?

SW has a special output for this but it does have the retrace lines.

Anyway, I want to get rid of it friends !  As you know I already have a better scope:

A bit off topic (but not too far off), but, not sure if anyone has seen this - apparently this is done just using the 'audio' from the music (heard or not).
