Title: An Updated Tour of my Game Room :-)
Post by: Sonic 1992 on September 06, 2011, 09:20:57 PM
Hey everyone!   :D

After spending a month cleaning and dusting everything    in the game room...  I did some moving around to bring out more of my collection that was still stored..

Also, I shifted the display cases around to fit my growing collectibles collection.

Enjoy The Tour  :D  :pac:  :ghost:  :spaceace:

Wow ... simply wow. I would never had the endurance to arrange the many thousand bits and pieces so beautifully in the display cases. Very well done! I like it ...

woho, what a collection! my highlight is definitely the yesterdays sign - unbeatable. your room however looks more like a shopping mall than a gameroom in the common sense. i'd rather loose all those items on display (or at least most of them) and put games in there (how many actual arcade cabinets do you have there?) :P. nevertheless, absolutely impressive to look at, must have cost you a fortune!!!

Then again...this is Sonic's gameroom and collection.

Hi   :D   I love collecting videogame related items (posters toys games displays etc.)  just as much as the home and arcade games.  I have 6 cabs, 1 pinball... I used to have more, but I made a mistake trading a few for one game.   :'(    I would LOVE to have more arcade games, but I don't have the money at this time.... Believe me, It's sickening to know that every classic game that I ever loved is only a 25minute drive away from my house, and most are all in perfect to near mint condition.  So many locations in Houston have them.  If I could find that pot at the end of the rainbow, I'd have them now!  :D    It's easier and not as expensive adding to my collectible collection, than getting more cabs..  The only cab i reaaalllllly want bad next is an Asteroids cocktail.  Hopefully sometime soon?   :D

As much as I'd love to have more arcade games, financial situation unfortunately says..... no  :'(

Started collecting seriously in1991.... Most of the collection cost nothing, just time & gas going out to find then.... And that was half the fun! ;D

The room stays pretty clean... First serious clean since built in 2007

Absolutely amazing. That's a museum you have built up there. Beautiful. And lots of attention to detail. One can see you love your little paradise.

you should scan klov/craig list  and auctions,   there are the places to get stuff,   largely more choice than in europe  :P .  but in usa yes, you have these typical 3000$ "restored" arcades in shops  :?
