here's a topic i've been wanting to start for quite a while now for all those random arcade packages we are receiving!
last week, i was treated to a huge collection of boxes - delivered for free almost to my doorstep ;D
(http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6191/6059058620_4e2d8c4f99_b_d.jpg)
inside, some arcade board games for my collection (which will eventually be cabinet toppers - but more on that later in a separate topic!)
random stuff like overlays and pcbs

Love all that Art !
Rich Rules!
-
YEAH...time to get the Galaxian panel sanded and painted :)
-
That Galaxian CPO looks so nice also a bit because of me.....Rich sent me the vector file he would be using and I found a couple mistakes (like the copyright year being 1978 instead of 1979). Later I found even more faults, but that was on the first CPO he printed. There were no bullets before the instructions. Those bullets on yours look like squares, is that because of low-res or are they really square ? AFAIR they should be circles....
As always nice toys....hope he didn't declare full value for you.... ;)
You didn't wipe good enough my friend:
Frogger CPO
Frogger Woodgrain.....tsss, it's so clear....hah ! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Interested to see how the red DK vinyl looks....

nope, he didn't! and for some strange (lucky) reason this huge package slipped through customs, so i didn't have to pay ANTHING at all!!! ;D

Looks FAB! (stupid English ;D)
When i see all those pieces, i really miss my game room and my arcades.... - just to open the door to it and breath in the smell... swap trough my marquees, bezels, PCB´s..... :'(
..... but up next.... The Shed whoops.... The Barn™ :o ::) :D :spaceace:
-
My guess is "frogger tiretrack" and "frogger Marquee" ???

was it that difficult to obtain one, michael?
-
This time no package but a small envelope. :D
(http://i1069.photobucket.com/albums/u471/Gyruss99/IMAG5337.jpg)
It's a joystick washer (is that the right name?) for my Nintendo and the Ferrari emblem for the outrun mini.
Now i'm only waiting for the gear-B part and the outrun will shine again ;D

Let's see it running! ;)
-
When i´m back home i can put it in either the Pac or Ms. Pac man cab..... ;)
-
Another Outrun related package arrived a few days ago.
It's the infamous Gear B part, which seems to be one of the main problems of outrun cabinets. The original part was plastic but a guy on klov (Steve) did an outstanding job replicating it, no way this is going to break anytime soon. :)
Because Steve doesn't ship oversees Ataritoobin was so kind to help me, so huge props and many thanks to him! ;D ;D ;D
Btw, i'm very tempted right now to tell you all about the seller of the cabinet, who (again) proved he's is an asshole, but i guess i'll save that story for Eurocade.. ;)
