Yeah i know, but someone had to start the thread! :D
Really looking forward to meet my "old" friends, and certainly meet some new ones!!!!!! - imagine a whole day only talking about arcade....
Totally Win - Win!....
To get in the arcade spirit, i bid on some items...., and played a bit of Puzzle Bubble... - completed the game in one Credit! (First time! but 16 years to late to win a T-Shirt....)

Maybe one thing we didn't discuss (enough) but I would LOVE to make a group-picture like the one that was made in front of TwinGalaxies in the 80's for Life magazine.
Hope we can make some (short) time for that (AND drag everyone outside (plus a couple of cabs) ;) ;).
Very proud that all of you guys are willing to come all the way from all over Europe. It will be a blast I'm sure !

We have 3 of the cabs on this picture at Eurocade (Ms.Pac, Centi and DK).. I think a SW cockpit would be cool to replace the Tempest (also Atari, also color vector ;))
What to use instead of Defender ? Maybe Joust ? (Also Williams) And what about Tutankham ??
Not sure which cabs they used for the "repro" shot in KoK ?
There's one tiny detail....no idea where to get chearleaders ;D ;D ;D

In exactly a week and 3 hours, i´m heading for something called "EuroCade" - where there are supposed to be other people with their arcade video games (hva fanden erdet for noget??)
I will take some pictures, and maby some video on a full HD camera..... and maby share it with you guys.... :lol:

It's funny how Eurocade became a "force" to get a lot of cabs running/finished etc. It's good to have a dead-line sometimes ;)

Don't let the bad picture fool you, i cut quite a few corners and there are some things i'm not happy about. But on first sight it looks indeed okay.
And yes, could we please have a edition every 2 months? ;D ;D ;)

Wow, looking forward to see all your beautiful restaurated cabs. Technically I admire them a lot. Mine isn't. It still has it all. Scratches, dirt, cigarete burns, broken wood ... But I like it that way. I call it soul ;D I think it is interesting to imagine how and when all that damage happened. Some Columbo style approach to restoration and collection ;)

Muerto is on the same track AFAIK...and don't worry, none of my cabs are 100% restored (although the SW, Galaxian and Centipede are close...)
The Asterock didn't need much, some new buttons, cleaning and monitor and board repair, but nothing replaced on the outside (there's nothing availabe anyway ;))
Berzerk is the same....I only still want to paint the front, but too late now.
Anyway, it doesn't matter....they're all F-ING GREAT GAMES !!!!! ;D ;D ;D

T2 is out of the Basement and it's sleeping in the car...
The other things I will take tomorrow ..
I tried to make pics how we took the T2 out of the basement .. but I was not able to carry this monster AND take pics of that.
Now the T2 has scratches, bumps and what ever .. it looks used now :-) .. who cares ..
We will start tomorrow morning at 7:30 and will arrive at 10 (I hope so)

OK guys, we just left the Eurocade premises. :D
We have been busy all day collecting cabs, setting them up, test play them. We also had a brief meeting with some early arrivals, like Belike and his girlfriend. That was nice. It's now 1 o'clock and Gyruss, Etienne, Level42 and I are going to get some sleep now. We have to get up early tomorrow morning for the last preparations, so we can be ready to welcome you from 10 AM. Bring it on.
By the way, it is looking good already, very good. And the beer is cold. Cheers.

No Problem, i have the time to fix them now because i´m working in my company until 18clock...
unfortunately i´m not @eurocade... the distances and my workplace was not with me. :roll:
