No.
And it's always better than a vertical floor collapse.

holy smokes :o :o :o don't meet trouble halfway!!! i'd rather have 10 monitors collapse than the floor underneath my machines. still worried a little bit, although it withstood a looot of pressure and movement yesterday evening!!!

Not so long ago, my plan was to build a gameroom in the only free room left in our house: the attic (laughs in the audience).
I tried to bring a mildly heavy cab upstairs with a friend, first our spinal bones nearly exploded after less than 10 steps and then we distinctly heard the old wooden stairs going "CRRRRRRKKKK!". Lucky us, they didn't vertically collapsed (TM) though and we put the cab safely back in the entry hallway...
Later I thought that even if we had managed to bring a few cabs up there, the attic floor couldn't have stand it and the cabs would have ended up below in our bedroom. What a lovely way to die: crushed by an asteroids... there I would have had my 15 minutes of fame for sure!

A few years ago we had rented an old blacksmith's shop as a warehouse for most of our cabs. The shop was devided in 3 parts, each with its own gate, kind of like 3 garages side by side. One day a part of the ceiling in one of the sections did vertically collapse  Being that this section was a bit shabby to begin with we didn't put any of the good stuff in there, just the crab that was being parted out and thrown away. We had a bunch of monitors stored in the attic, but they did'n get harmed. Luckily no one was in there when it happened.

you guys make me even more nervous ...

Maybe it's not a monitor problem but just your eyesight that has a collapsing problem, it often happens when you turn 40.
Did you double checked?
