Title: Mortal Kombat sound issues

I've got a Mortal Kombat 1 pcb yesterday with some sound issues, it has only a continous, disturbing beep and no other sounds.As I can see, there is sound potmeter hacked to one of the connectors, maybe that's the problem.If anybody have the same board, pics would be great. ;)

The PCB on the pictures is the Sound PCB... :)

Yes the pic is from the sound board only, it's connected to the mainboard.

Post by: Laschek on July 15, 2010, 09:17:11 PM: This actually is the right spot for the sound pot, though not very elegantly done. My boardset uses a 47 Ohm or 47 kOhm pot, can't remember which, but it should be stated in the manual I guess.

I doubt the cause will be the pot.
