Hi,
i am going to repair my third cab. It's a generic cab mounting an Hantarex mtc 900/e monitor. The probelm i am trying to face is a strange flickering of the image (looks like the flickering you can experience with interlaced images on crt monitors, but it cant be because i am using a jamma PCB). Considering that:
- The PCB is working (i used two different working PCB's, tested in another cab)
- The generator is OK (i checked the outputs and i have constant power sourcing)
so, it should be the monitor PCB, but what should i check?
thanks in advance

As long as I remember it is the same monitor used inside DL and Space ace (atari and sidam) so It would be rational that it works with interlaced images
the DL signal is sent from the LD player 22vp932 to the monitor hantarex 900/e through a normal scart cable converted in the typical monitor socket RGB VHE in interlaced signal (Ld signals are made for standard Tv: interlaced signal 50hz pal / 60 hz ntsc)
Mav
Ps= you wrote me today on jamma, right?

Thanks for the reply
Maybe the monitor can play interlaced, but the PCB running is not interlaced, so the prob must lie elsewhere.
I wrote you where?
EDIT: ah, you are Marco? Nice to meet you here :-*
EDIT 2: SOLVED! It was a soldering close to the vfreq pot
